Several notes for you:
- This Sunday’s worship will include a blessing of healers during the service, remembering St. Luke, the physician. Invite all the healers (of mind, heart, or body) in your life to attend.
- This Sunday is also the 90th birthday of our beloved Miss Louise Taylor. We’ll have ice cream and cake. Make the day memorable for her by bringing a card. We’ll collect them during coffee hour and present them to her. (Louise is not receiving this message.)
- Adult Christian Education also resumes on Sunday following worship – and a little time to enjoy food, fellowship, and Miss Louise!
- Finally, how about a field trip? On Sunday, October 29, plan to meet at the Huntington Museum of Art at 3 P.M. to see the exhibit “For the Joy of Light: Paintings by Robert Singleton & Soundscapes by Dan Morrow.” Following the exhibit, we’ll attend the Halloween Concert given by musicians at Trinity Episcopal Church at 5, and then go out to dinner. Please let Mtr. TJ know if you plan to be part of the group (our Seekers and several other parish members are attending), so that she may give you details about meeting up, etc., and any necessary changes.
Wishing you every blessing,
Mtr. TJ
