Dear Calvary family,
Last Sunday went very well considering all that was happening. Bishop Mark was making his annual visit and five people responded to the invitation leading up to his visit in joining the church officially via Confirmation. These were adult confirmations, and we will have a youth track available this spring. Those being confirmed were Alyse Giffin, Afton Carroll, Cody Blackford, and John & Annie Johnson. Congratulations to our newest members!
We also installed the Rector and I appreciate everyone who participated in the service. Bishop Mark’s sermon on the passage from Mark’s gospel challenged us to still be amazed by Jesus’ life, teaching, and ministry. The choir, aptly led by Dr. Carol Greene, did a wonderful job of being flexible with the day’s somewhat different liturgy while leading us in beautiful music. Thank you choir for your time and talent!
