Dear brothers & sisters in Christ,
I am so proud of our youth who did a marvelous job with the Christmas pageant last Sunday morning! They helped us go from the darkness to the birth of the Light of the World. We then traveled with the Wise Men who followed the Star of Bethlehem to worship the Christ child! Thanks to all the actors, their parents and grandparents, and our wonderful and talented staff who combined their holy gifts!
I was also blessed by the bountiful feast for the celebratory pageant luncheon which followed the service. That’s where I was told that we had 100 people in worship! Some said that’s more than we’ve had in 10-12 years. If even one of you had not been there it would have only been 99 which is still admirable. However, the 3rd Sunday of Advent 2023 is now forever in my mind as the day we were 100! Thank each one of you for making the effort to be present. You make a difference!
This week I hope to see you at the:
– Greening of the Church on Wednesday at 6p.m.
– Sunday morning (4 Advent) at 10a.m.
– Sunday early evening for the Family Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m.
– Sunday night for our Candlelight Mass Christmas Eve service at 10:30p.m. (We will use incense). Special music at 10:15p.m.
